We have over ten years experience in providing a range of high-quality tuition services to students across the UK  – in addition, we have been a registered examination centre for several years – providing simple and straightforward examination entry for candidates in the UK and abroad.  We consistently achieve long-term retention rates of above 80% for one-to-one tuition whilst 90% of candidates wishing to sit further examinations re-book with Exams UK. 

Where can I sit my exams?

All examinations are now offered at our National Examination Centre in Bristol.  The centre has been developed to cater specifically for private candidates traveling from across the country to take examinations with us. Our examination facilities are extremely 'student-friendly' and the centre is set in a quiet suburb of Bristol, easily accessible by car, train, coach etc - we can also arrange accomodation for candidates traveling longer distances to sit their examinations with us. Can I sit my exams in other locations in the UK?

Yes, we plan to open a number of other examination centres at specific locations across the UK - over the next twelve months - subject to local demand.  Please keep checking the website for updates!

When can I sit my exams?

For most IGCSEs, examinations can be sat in May or November of each year. 

Why choose the IGCSE?

The fully accredited and recognised International GCSE - the IGCSE - is an increasingly popular choice with home-educated students, mature students and students who are unable to attend school or college.  The IGCSE is recognised by universities and colleges within the UK and overseas.  Moreover, the high status of the IGCSE has led to many fee-paying schools in the UK moving from the traditional GCSE to the IGCSE for their students. 

One attractive feature is that the IGCSE qualification is offered in two formats; with coursework or without coursework - many students opt for the non-coursework option, the IGCSE qualification being achieved simply by examination.  The IGCSE is also the ideal option for students wishing to re-sit their GCSEs as the course material for both qualifications is very similar. 

Can you provide tutorial services / correspondence courses?

Yes, we certainly can - we have a range of one-to-one, online and correspondence courses to assist you - please see our Courses page for more details.

Can I enter through you for exams without having tuition?

Yes, of course – most students choose this route - we support many students who wish to enter for examinations but do not require any kind of additional support or tuition - for those that do, we can also provide tuition / academic support if required - but we are more than happy to provide just examination entry.

Can you support coursework and experimental work?

Although many IGCSEs are offered with optional coursework, we would strongly advise that you enter for the non-coursework option - as completing coursework and experiments as a home-educated or mature student is often very difficult.  However, if you decide to follow an IGCSE with coursework, we should be able to support the coursework component/s and any experimental work involved.

I will be traveling to your centre by train / coach - can you help with transfers and accomodation?

Yes, we can arrange for you / your family to be collected from the station and taken to suitable accomodation for either overnight or extended stay and arrange transfers to and from our examination centre on the day of the examination/s.  This is often an ideal solution, enabling students to travel down the day before their examination/s so that they are 'fresh' on the day. The examination centre is located just four miles from Bristol City Centre.

Do you offer examination entry for other qualifications?

Yes, we certainly do - you can enter for GCSE, A/S, A2 and other qualifications such as NVQ Childcare, Learning and Development as offered through other UK-based examination boards.

Entry for the IGCSE and all other exams through us is very straightforward - it involves the completion of a simple entry form (please request a copy by phone on 0117 956 4637 or by email - forms will soon be available to download directly from the website) - once completed and payment is received we will make your entry!
